Sam Lammers spoke to the media after the win over Motherwell. Here is everything he had to say at Ibrox.

What were your thoughts on the game today?

The positive is that we have three points. It's clear we have to play better as a team, be more dominant, especially at home. But we have had a few good results in a row so that's what we have to take.

Can you describe how the manager was at full-time?

Obviously we have talked about the things we have to do better, because there were loads, but this is between the team. We have to do a lot of things better but we have to stick together as a team and take a positive result. Wednesday is another game.

What did you make of the reaction at the end?

The last 20 minutes or something they were pressing us, they had the better chances, so it's to be expected. When you win you hope to get the fans behind you but this was just not a good match for us, I think that was clear, so they let us know we have to do better.

The way we ended the game, at home we should be more dominant. We have to play better football, be dominant in our own stadium every game. We had opportunities to go 2-0 up and make it easier for ourselves but we just have to play a higher tempo. We have to make it easier for ourselves, get another goal and then the world looks a lot different in football.

What did you make of your own performance?

I had opportunities to score. I tried to create for the team, to start attacks. A lot of occasions this worked well but I had a few opportunities to score myself so I am a little disappointed this didn't work out for myself and the team.

Have the new players had enough time to get used to Scottish football?

Yes, we have played enough games already. We have had enough games as new players.
