A jubilant Jack Butland has been speaking after helping Rangers defeat Aberdeen to win the League Cup at Hampden.

Here is everything he had to say to Viaplay Sports.

How are you feeling?

I'm overwhelmed. It's been one of the best weeks in football for me. It would've been easy after Thursday to be tired, to be complacent. We've had it tough against these guys already this year and the boys came through it. It was a difficult game, it didn't go as easy as we would've liked but they put in a fight and made it really difficult for us and as the captain does, he gets us out of jail and he wins this game. He's won us the trophy, I can't thank him enough and it's another trophy for Rangers.

And your first one for Rangers...

Yeah, emphasis on the first!

The shift in the changing room, what changes has the manager made since he's come in?

It's always been there and I know people will argue the start of the season didn't look like that but honestly, it's been there the whole time. We were a little bit lost but the effort, the intensity, the quality of the group and the character, it's been there. We were just a bit lost and the manager has come in and simplified a lot and given us some confidence back. It's shown in the time that he's been here and now we've got a trophy to show for it and the last 16 of the Europa League so we're chuffed.

Is it too early to target a double or a treble?

We'll do what's next tomorrow but today we'll enjoy this, everyone else should enjoy this and we'll do what's next tomorrow.
