Rangers have rejected a bid from Galatasaray for defender Ridvan Yilmaz.

The 22-year-old has been the subject of much transfer speculation during the window with Serie A side Hellas Verona also being linked with the left-back.

It is understood that the Turkish giants made two offers for Yilmaz, but Ibrox chiefs refused to budge on their £4million valuation.

He joined Rangers in the summer of 2022 under then boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst for £4.5million from Besiktas but has struggled to hold down a regular starting place.

Yilmaz has featured 17 times for the Ibrox club so far this season, scoring twice and providing one assist.

Meanwhile, Adam Devine has joined Motherwell on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old, who is a regular in the Scotland youth set-up, has made 11 appearances for the Ibrox side.

He has also had loan spells with Partick Thistle and Brechin City.

Speaking after the move was confirmed, Devine said: "I can’t wait to get involved. It’s a great club and everyone I have met has been excellent.

"The manager really sold the club and what he wants to do here and I can’t wait to be a part of that."

Fir Park boss Stuart Kettlewell added: "He has made appearances at first-team level for Rangers and has been a regular in the matchday squads, which I think shows he is highly thought of by Rangers.

“I hope he brings energy and enthusiasm. This is a chance for him to prove himself at this level and I look forward to working with him.”
