Rangers will aim to stretch their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to five points as Hearts visit Ibrox on Saturday.

Philippe Clement's side leapfrogged Celtic at the summit of the league table after a 3-0 win over St Johnstone on Sunday.

And thanks to playing one day before their rivals this weekend, Rangers could take the lead to five points should they overcome Steven Naismith's side in Glasgow. Celtic then play on Sunday against Motherwell at Fir Park.

However, Hearts will head to Glasgow intent on continuing their own impressive run of form which has led to a huge lead in the race for third place.

Naismith's side sit on 51 points - 14 ahead of closest challengers Kilmarnock on 37 points after 16 matches.

Hearts also - alongside Rangers - boast a flawless record of five straight wins from their last five outings.
