Former Aberdeen Chief Executive Keith Wyness reckons Rangers can hold onto Philippe Clement for at least two or three seasons.
The Englishman served his time in Scottish football during a period of great financial power with the likes of Dick Advocaat and Martin O'Neill in charge of the Old Firm.
There has already been speculation the Belgian could be interesting top clubs given the impact he's had in a short period of time in Govan, returning Rangers to the summit of the Premiership and winning the League Cup.
But 66-year-old Wyness, who now runs a football consultancy, reckons he won't be leaving Glasgow anytime soon.
He told Football Insider‘s Insider Track podcast: “It’s always the problem, isn’t it – if you do well in Scotland then a Premier League or top European club will come and look at you.
“I do tend to think that Clement will stay a bit longer than normal.
“I expect to see him at Rangers for the next two or three seasons before he moves on.
“I’m getting the feeling that Clement will stay for a while to come just yet.”
