Todd Cantwell could swap Rangers for Saudi Arabia this summer, according to reports.

It's claimed the midfielder has attracted transfer interest from the Saudi Pro League with Rangers willing to sell.

The Scottish Sun report Ibrox chiefs would sanction a transfer exit for Cantwell should a deal materialise.

Al-Qadsiah are reportedly interested in Cantwell and keeping ties on the playmaker this summer with intentions for a transfer swoop.

The same club previously landed James Bisgrove from his post as Rangers chief executive with a reunion with Cantwell in Saudi not off the cards.

It's thought Bisgrove could raid his former club with Cantwell a possible target and the club also monitoring James Tavernier.

The ambitious Saudi club signed ex-Real Madrid centre-back Nacho last week and could turn their attention to Cantwell or Tavernier as possible next targets.

Both Cantwell and Tavernier remain contracted at Rangers with the pair back in training at the club's Auchenhowie base last week ahead of pre-season friendlies later this month.

Meanwhile, Rangers will look to recoup the £4.5million fee that was shelled out for Cyriel Dessers.

Greek outfit PAOK have been heavily linked with a transfer move for the Ibrox striker with clubs in France and Spain also registering their interest in the forward.

Further, it's understood the situation is also being closely monitored in Saudi as Dessers considers his options ahead of the new term.
