The Northern Irishman is viewed as a potential Ibrox number one in the years to come and will be allowed to leave on loan in order to gain vital first team experience in the coming months.
Munn made his debut in the Scottish Cup win over Fraserburgh last term. He is contracted to [[Rangers]] until the summer of 2028 and a loan switch will be the next stage of his development this season.
[[Rangers]] announced earlier this month that Kieran Wright had signed an extension to his contract. Wright will remain as third choice at [[Ibrox]] while Russell Martin considers his options for the gloves.
Martin was interested in a move for Brighton and Hove Albion shot-stopper Carl Rushworth and has also been linked with Pierce Charles of Sheffield Wednesday. Speaking at the training camp at St George's Park, Martin refused to rule out adding in that department after inheriting Jack Butland and Liam Kelly on his appointment as manager.

Butland was given the nod for the Champions League win over Panathinaikos this week and repaid Martin's faith. The Englishman made a series of important stops to help Rangers gain a valuable first leg lead.
"I think we're asking people to judge people that are fresh," Martin said on Butland. "There'll be people that have had different experiences here so far.
"Playing in our team tonight, Kieran Dowell was another one who I thought was great, he's been really impressive in pre-season.
"I'm really pleased for Jack because he's a really good goalkeeper. I think he's shown that in periods here as well. I think it gives him a really good platform to build from."
