Rangers are set to unveil Bojan Miovski as their 11th new addition of the summer within the next 24 hours.
The 26-year-old will complete a move to Ibrox from Girona worth an initial £2.6million, rising to a possible £4.2m.
The Rangers Review reported last Saturday that Miovski, who spent two years at Aberdeen before making the switch to La Liga side Girona, was top of the club’s list of options at No.9 as Hamza Igamane’s protracted move to Lille was finally completed this week.
Igamane was confirmed as a Lille player this morning. The 22-year-old Moroccan refused to come off the bench during Sunday’s 1-1 draw with St Mirren, with his heart set on a move to the Ligue 1 club since the player’s representatives held talks with the club in Lille.
On Thursday, a deal was agreed between Rangers and Girona with Miovski flying in to complete his medical on Friday.
The Rangers Review understands that club chiefs are working to register the striker in time for Sunday’s Old Firm, but Miovski’s participation in the game remains up in the air depending on whether he is registered in time.

The Rangers Review also reported on Friday that the club have held talks with Everton to discuss the possibility of bringing 21-year-old striker Youssef Chermiti on loan. As exclusively revealed last week, the player has been under consideration as an option at No.9 amid ongoing uncertainty surrounding Cyriel Dessers’ future.
Dessers, 30, was keen on a move to AEK Athens earlier this summer, although head coach Russell Martin praised his professionalism after Rangers rejected a bid thought to be well short of their £5m price tag.
Young forward Josh Gentles today joined Raith Rovers on loan as part of the club’s Loan Cooperation Agreement with the Championship club.
The 17-year-old will still be able to turn out for Rangers Under-19s while playing for the Championship side at weekends.
