Hamza Igamane has broken his silence after leaving Rangers for Lille in acrimonous circumstances.
The Moroccan striker completed his £10.4million transfer to the French side last week and immediately hit the ground running with a brace on his debut, a 7-1 hammering of Lorient.
Igamane had seemingly engineered the exit by refusing to come on as a substitute as manager Russell Martin desperately needed a catalyst for change during the drab draw with St Mirren.
The manager later admitted the 22-year-old was on his way out and he finally got his wish by joining the club who had courted him for most of the summer.
Igamane claims he has moved to a club and a league which is the best environment for him.
