Danny Rohl will not be bringing his Sheffield Wednesday assistant to Rangers if he lands the job.
That's because the man in question, Chris Powell, has landed another job as he leaves the coaching staff at Walsall to become Jack Wilshere's assistant at Luton Town.
The former Charlton and Huddersfield boss was right-hand man to Rohl during his time at Sheffield Wednesday before both left in July, weeks before the start of the Championship season started.

He recently joined Walsall on a short-term basis but that has come to an end prematurely as the 56-year-old is the man chosen by Wilshere to go in with him at the Hatters.
Coincidentally, the former Arsenal midfielder has landed that job ahead of sacked Ibrox boss Russell Martin, who was immediately installed as one of he favourites after his Rangers exit.
It means the German would have to look elswhere if he takes the Rangers job. Other coaches who worked under him at Hillsborough are Sascha Lense and Neil Thompson. In another quirk of fate, Ibrox goalkeeping coach Sal Bibbo was there previously too.
