Stevie Smith has named his Rangers team to face Dundee United at Ibrox this afternoon.

The under-19s head coach is taking charge of the senior side on an interim basis after Russell Martin was sacked just under a fortnight ago.

The final nail in the coffin for the 39-year-old was a 1-1 draw away to Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership.

From that stalemate, Smith has made three alterations to the team today.

In come Jayden Meghoma, Thelo Aasgaard, and Oliver Antman, as Nasser Djiga, Connor Barron, and Mikey Moore drop out.

Smith will be assisted in the dugout this afternoon by Brian Gilmour, Rhys Owen, and Sal Bibbo.

"I really want to enjoy it," said Smith ahead of taking charge of Rangers."I think there are times as a player when you just go day to day and you don't actually sit back and enjoy the moment that you're in.

"I'll enjoy it a lot more if we win, but that enjoyment will probably come in the days and weeks after."

Confirmed Rangers starting XI: Butland, Tavernier, Souttar, Cornelius, Meghoma, Rothwell, Raskin, Aasgaard, Antman, Gassama, Miovski.

Subs: Kelly, Aarons, Barron, Chermiti, Bajrami, Cameron, Djiga, Moore, Curtis.
