Rangers' new men’s first team performance manager, Sascha Lense, is related to Germany star Timo Werner.
The attacker, who has scored 24 goals in 57 appearances for his country, currently plies his trade for RB Leipzig, having returned to the Bundesliga outfit over the summer after an 18-month loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur.
And Lense, who recently joined Rangers as part of new boss Danny Rohl's backroom team, is Werner's father-in-law.

The 50-year-old's arrival, along with that of assistant coach Matthias Kaltenbach, was confirmed on Wednesday, just in time for Rangers' trip to face Brann in the Europa League this evening.
Rohl has promised to make some alterations to the lineup after a 2-2 draw with Dundee United on Saturday: "We will have some changes in the starting XI," he said. "But after the first two days, I cannot overload the players, especially coming into a Europa League game.
"I am looking forward to the game. Over the last couple of days, I have seen some good things from the squad.
"We have to turn the negative energy into positive energy, which, from the day I met all the players, I saw that smile on the players.
"Over the last two days, the players have been working hard, and you will see that in the game tomorrow. It will be a fight, but we are ready for it."
