Andy Halliday fumed over Nick Walsh's decision not to send off Auston Trusty against Rangers.
The former Ibrox midfielder - now at Motherwell - went beserk over the Hampden flashpoint as Trusty caught Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland on the head.
Rangers had already been reduced to ten men with Thelo Aasgaard dismissed for a foul on Anthony Ralston when he connected with the thigh of the Celtic player.
In first-half stoppage time, Butland collected the ball on the ground before Trusty flicked his foot out and connected with the goalkeeper.
There was limited force in the contact, but replays showed Butland was in possession of the ball before Trusty motioned towards him with his right boot.
Walsh produced a yellow card for Trusty over the foul but Halliday was adamant it should have been a red as he branded the decision as "f***ing laughable" on the Open Goal watchalong live stream on Sunday.
Halliday is a regular panellist on the internet show and joined Paul Slane on the live stream to watch the Premier Sports Cup semi-final with Slane backing Celtic and Halliday backing Rangers.
The pundit had been in the squad for Motherwell in the other semi-final on Saturday but saw his side lose 4-1 to St Mirren as he was an unused substitute at Hampden.

Going berserk over the Trusty flashpoint, Halliday shouted: "Red card. There we go, ten men each, ten men each, game back on.
"If that's not a red card...oh my God. Red card all day long. It's a red card all day long.
"Don't tell me he's played on. There is no way he has played on, no way.
"He can't have, he's booted him in the head. He's got the ball in his hands.
"He's played on. Oh my God, oh my God. That is f***ing laughable.
"Honest to God, that is embarrassing. And watch people try and defend that.
"Butland has actually got his hands on the ball, Trusty boots him in the head and gets a yellow card.
"Scottish football man. That is mad."
