Connor Barron is confident Rangers will continue to reap the rewards of Danny Rohl's Ibrox blueprint as he pinpointed the freedom factor behind their domestic form.
Rangers return to Premiership action against Falkirk this weekend as they look to recover from the disappointment of squandering two crucial Europa League points against Braga at Ibrox. The hosts were a goal in front and a man to the good heading into the final stages but a Gabri Martinez strike denied Rohl's side late on.

Rangers have just one point from their first five matches in the league phase and must now win each of their remaining three fixtures to give themselves a shot at reaching the next round. It is domestic matters that carry more weight right now, though, and victory over the Bairns would see Rohl make it five-in-a-row in the Premiership as he sets his sights on Celtic and league leaders Hearts.
“On Thursday we showed something we haven’t shown in the previous Europa League games so we can take confidence from that, in terms of the performance," Barron said. “But in terms of a result, we still need to work on that and we believe we can.
“Hopefully we can carry that performance into Sunday, we have to do that. The fixtures come thick and fast here but we’ve got to go and deal with that. We have to pick up maximum points on Sunday.
“I’ve seen a lot of differences and improvements since the manager came in. I feel like we’re playing with a lot more freedom and the boys are taking advantage of that.
“Obviously we have to pick up results and in the league we’ve done that. But Thursday was a disappointing one.
“It’s too early for me to come out and say anything about [the title race]. We’re just focused on picking up maximum points from our next run of games.
“It feels like we’re going in the right direction, certainly in the league, 100 per cent."
