Danny Rohl hopes to have Bojan Miovski available to face Hearts after the Rangers striker sat out the win over Hibs.

After scoring a sensational acrobatic effort against Ferencvaros last Thursday, the North Macedonian was forced off after taking a knock, and he hadn't recovered in time to play at Ibrox last night.

He was one of five changes as Rohl was required to shuffle his pack due to a mixture of injuries and fatigue.

Youssef Chermiti led the line against David Gray's side, but the German is hopeful of having Miovski back for Tynecastle.

He said: "Let's see, day by day, today looks better, it could be he's available on Saturday, this is my hope. You see Nasser [Djiga] improved step by step, more and more, he goes now to the African Cup, which means again I have to change my last line, I have to think again. Every week or every three days is a new decision, but it's what it is and I try my best to make the best decision for the club."

Nicolas Raskin started on the bench due to a slight muscle injury, but was able to come on for the closing stages.

Delivering an update on the midfielder, Rohl said: "Nico was a big question mark, he couldn't train the last 72 hours, he was just recovering, he had a problem with the muscle, in the morning he had a fitness test and it looked OK, but it was also clear for me he cannot start today. He helped in the last 15 minutes. I think this is good to have him, I missed on Thursday a No.6 on the bench to bring new energy, and today I had this.

"Yeah, and today was for me decision-making, Findlay or Gassama [too]. I know if this space opens, Gas is also very helpful as a sub and he was close to scoring and deciding the game. I think it's good to have more opportunities, especially with this busy schedule."
