The Scottish FA's Key Match Incident (KMI) panel has issued its verdict on Rangers' offside goal against Heart of Midlothian at the weekend.

Bojan Miovski appeared to have given Danny Rohl's men the lead at Tynecastle Park after tapping home Emmanuel Fernandez's header at the back post.

The goal was initially given, but after a VAR review, Nick Walsh whistled for offside, and it was chopped off.

The SFA's KMI panel has backed up the decision to rule the strike out, having agreed 3:0 with the final call.

"The panel unanimously agreed that the on-field decision was incorrect," guidance read. "The panel highlighted VAR was correct to intervene and the goal was correctly disallowed for offside."

Rangers went on to lose the match by two goals to one, thanks to Stuart Findlay's header and a fine strike from Lawrence Shankland.

The Ibrox side return to action on Saturday as they welcome Motherwell to Ibrox in the William Hill Premiership.

That is followed by another home match against St Mirren before Rohl takes his team across the city to face arch-rivals Celtic in the new year.
