Aberdeen visit Ibrox on Tuesday night for the first of a double-header with the two sides meeting again at Pittodrie on Sunday. The men from the north-east will have to travel through some brutal weather conditions, which could also put the game at risk.
Aberdeen have just sacked Jimmy Thelin following Saturday's defeat to Falkirk and will be led by interim boss Peter Leven.
They will come up against a Rangers side in high spirits following that Parkhead success, but they need to ensure they back that up.
