Kris Boyd has revealed he can "totally understand" why Emmanuel Fernandez saw his goal against Aberdeen ruled out after a VAR review.
The former Rangers striker was not surprised to see a foul awarded after Fernandez headed home at Pittodrie.
John Beaton recommended a review of the goal, with referee David Dickinson sent to the monitor and deeming Fernandez to have fouled goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov.
The Rangers centre-back had looked to have outjumped Mitov with his eyes on the ball, but his arm was deemed to have interfered with the goalkeeper's arms.
Discussing the incident on Sky Sports at half-time, Chris Sutton said: "Do you know what? If I am Fernandez, I am absolutely furious that it has been ruled out.
"Fernandez' eyes were just on the ball and people may say, 'Well he's stopping the goalkeeper using his arms'...you use your arm as leverage to get up, that is Fernandez' space as much as it is Mitov's.
"If Mitov mistimes his jump or whatever, that is on him. I think the goal should have been given."

Boyd - despite believing the incident should have resulted in a goal - believes the laws of the game meant the header was always going to be chopped off.
He said: "I can totally understand why it has been ruled out - impacting Mitov from using his hands."
Responding to Sutton who asked how players are supposed to jump without using their arms, Boyd said:"Chris, I agree with you. It should be a goal but that is the laws of the game.
"If you are impacting the goalkeeper and the ability for him to use his hands then it is going to get chalked off.
"Do I agree with it? No. But I think that is the rules of the game."
