Willie Collum has backed the decision to disallow a goal from Emmanuel Fernandez for Rangers against Aberdeen.
The centre-back had headed home at Pittodrie but saw the goal ruled out after a VAR intervention for a foul on Dimitar Mitov.
According to Collum, the correct decision was reached as he set out the criteria for fouls on goalkeepers, banning any contact on their arms.
On The VAR Review, he said: "This is a very good check and very good communication between the VAR and the on-field match official here.
"The referee initially gives a goal. I think that is understandable, very difficult to catch at full speed.
"But we believe these images are absolutely clear in that, you are impacting on the goalkeeper's opportunity to play the ball with his arms.
"As soon as you touch the goalkeeper's arms there, we believe this has to be a foul.
"We understand, the body contact, that's fine that's strength, two players jumping.
"That's key for us, that contact clearly takes place before Fernandez headers the ball so this has to be an intervention."

He added: "We don't think there is any intent by the Rangers player to commit a foul, but the reality is even if you need to use your arms to jump like that, as soon as you make contact with the goalkeeper, there in the arms and there is impact, it needs to result in a review and a foul."
VAR audio from the incident was released revealing the discussions leading to the goal being chopped off.
Referee: "The on-field decision is goal, no foul on the goalkeeper.
VAR: "Okay checking on-field decision of goal.
"Chris what I am seeing here is I think the hand of the Rangers player impacts on the goalkeeper's ability to play the ball.
"I think you can see the arm come across here and it makes clear contact with the arms so we need to make a decision whether we think that makes a direct impact on the goalkeeper's ability to catch the ball.
"Digger, I am going to recommend an on-field review here for the challenge on the goalkeeper so make the TV signal, come across and I'll talk you through what you're going to see when you get here, okay mate?
"Okay mate, what I'm going to show you, a low behind angle of Fernandez using his arm across the goalkeeper and preventing him from playing the ball. So you tell me what you're seeing here, we've got another angle."
Referee: "So before the ball comes, the arm comes across...
VAR: "The body contact is okay Digger but you can see the arm there prevents Mitov from playing the ball with his hands."
Referee: "Before the ball comes, it blocks his way."
