Josh Gentles has signed a new Rangers contract, keeping the young striker at the club until the summer of 2027.
The 18-year-old, currently on loan at Alloa Athletic as part of the cooperation agreement between the two clubs, was due to see his deal expire this summer but has signed on for another year.
He has four goal contributions in five games for the League One side and was involved with the Rangers first-team in pre-season. He also spent time on loan at Raith Rovers early in the campaign.
Gentles, who has been at the club since a young age, is delighted to stay on for at least another year.

“I’m really excited," he said. "Rangers have been part of my life since a young age and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my journey through the Academy.
“It was an excellent experience being part of the first-team squad throughout pre-season and it was a dream come true to run out at Ibrox in Rangers colours.
“I know there’s still a lot of hard work ahead of me, but I’m ready to give everything to keep developing and make the most of this opportunity.”
Meanwhile, fellow Rangers youngster Alexander Smith has joined Dumbarton on loan in League Two.
