Three former Rangers players have been released by Airdrie.

The Lanarkshire club have been relegated from the Championshio and will be playing League One football this season.

As it often does, that means a rebuild and the Diamonds have released their retained list with their season over.

Former Rangers trio Jamie Barjonas, Jake Hastie and Aidan Wilson are all leaving the club.

Barjonas and Wilson both came through the Ibrox academy, with the former making nine appearances for the first team before to join Kevin Thomson at Kelty Hearts in 2021.

Hastie burst onto the scene at Motherwell and was snapped up by Steven Gerrard's Rangers but was unable to impose himself.

He had loans at Rotherham, Motherwell, Partick Thistle and Linfield before joining Hartlepool United permanently.

Wilson played twice for Rangers before leaving for Crusaders in 2020.

Another two former Rangers players, Cole McKinnon and Adam Devine, are staying on at Airdrie.
