Rangers Women managing director Donald Gillies has been appointed to the SWPL board.
The former Scottish FA man will now serve a two-year term starting from next season and will take his place on the board along with SWPL managing director Fiona McIntyre, chair Elizabeth Fagan, SPFL representative Neil Doncaster, independent non-executive director James Murray and four other club representatives.
Those are: Laura Montgomery (Glasgow City), Dan Barnett (Hibs), Grant Jarvie (Motherwell) and Cathy Jamieson (Kilmarnock).

McIntyre said: “We are delighted to confirm the appointment of these Club representatives to our Board at such a pivotal moment for the women’s game. Their collective expertise will be invaluable as we continue to build a bold, ambitious, and sustainable future for the League.
“Clubs have a vital role in the SWPL governance structure and these appointments reinforce that, ensuring they continue to hold the representative majority on our Board.”
