Ross McCrorie completed his move from Bristol City to Rangers today, with a large portion for the former's fanbase gutted at the news.

The Scotland cap has spent the last three seasons at Ashton Gate after making the move from Aberdeen, impressing mostly as a right-back or wing-back.

Bristol City had recently triggered an option to extend his contract until next summer but opted to take the offer of money from the Ibrox club, with the player keen on the move.

It was formally announced by both club today and a lot of supporters of the EFL Championship side were sad to see the 28-year-old go.

One said: "One of the best fullbacks I've ever seen in a city shirt, and from what I have seen an heard, and incredible person. Will be missed McCorie, not a bad move either."

Another wrote: "Top effort. Aggression. Work rate. Can't ask for much more than that. Wish him all the best."

Another said: "Genuinely gutted about this, one of my favourite players thanks for everything Ross, best of luck back at Rangers."

Finally, another one wrote: "A monster on his day. Shame we never got three fully fit years but at his best was pretty much unplayable. Be a big loss but can’t moan about it or the pricetag."
