Derek McInnes admits John Souttar is "down the line" with a deal to leave Rangers.
The Rangers Review revealed earlier today the defender is set to clinch his Ibrox exit after four years at the club, with Greek side Aris Thessaloniki lining up the 29-year-old.
Both parties are closing in on a deal before the transfer window closes in Greece.
Souttar was left out of the pre-season trip to Spain and has since been unable to force his way back into the plans - not making a single appearance.
Earlier this week, McInnes refused to rule out the possibility of the Scotland defender forcing his way back in, but also admitted he would be allowed to leave the club if an opportunity arose.

Now, he has revealed there is interest from more than one club.
McInnes said: "I spoke to John this morning and he trained. There's interest from one or two clubs.
"One club is maybe a bit further down the line than the other. It's something that could develop, but I don't think it's at that stage yet. Maybe something happens over the next two or three days."
Fellow centre-back Clinton Nsiala has also been told he can find a new club, but is believed to have turned down offers to leave.
Olwethy Makhanya and Ben Godfrey have been signed this summer, while Ross McCrorie and Dujon Sterling are also capable of operating at centre-back.
