Lawrence Shankland has told Rangers fans he remains focused on leading the squad despite his injury - and then being ready to bounce back following his recovery.
The Ibrox captain faces months on the sidelines with the hamstring injury he picked up against Motherwell and has since had surgery.
After a tough start following his move from Hearts, he had just started to hit the goal trail and admits it is frustrating to have now picked up the untimely injury.
But, in his captain's column in last night's matchday programme, he has vowed to continue to help his teammates and assured fans the quality is there to bring success to the club, following four straight wins.

"Good evening, and welcome back to tonight’s Scottish Premiership fixture against St Mirren.
"Firstly, it was fantastic for the squad to get another victory in the league on Saturday against Motherwell.
"It was a real team performance, we showed our togetherness got the win, which ultimately was the most important thing.
"We created so many good chances and on another day, we could’ve added more goals, but it is pleasing to see those relationships building, chances being created, and the team getting in those kinds of positions.
"Defensively, we were strong too, everyone knows how much of a threat Motherwell can be and I felt that we really limited their opportunities.
"On a personal note, it was extremely disappointing and frustrating to have suffered this type of injury so early in my Rangers career.
"It has been a tough couple of days, but I am already focused on being back to help the team as soon as I possibly can and while I can’t do that on the pitch for now, I’ll still be around the boys in my role as captain.
"We have a lot of quality across the squad and great competition in the forward areas, and that is exactly what we need.
"There has been a lot of change this summer, but now with the transfer window closed, and a few wins under our belt, it is important we continue to build and find consistency.
"Tonight’s game gives the team another opportunity, and although we know St Mirren will provide another difficult test, it is down to us as a squad to keep the momentum going and make sure we pick up another three points."
