Rangers treated the 12,500 supporters inside a sun-kissed Ibrox to a fantastic evening’s entertainment with a well-earned victory over Real Madrid.

Buoyed by a wonderful atmosphere, the home side started the game in a hurry with their first entry into the Real Madrid box coming within the opening minute.

After going close to the opener, they allowed the visitors to progress up the park and open the scoring, through Brazilian Rodrygo.

What proceeded until the half-time whistle was some real Rangers domination.

They had 17 attempts without reply, with visiting keeper Andriy Lunin performing admirably to keep his sheet clean.

The hosts ensured their dominance was not in vain after the break, Fashion Sakala scoring his first Rangers goal to equalise before substitute Cedric Itten sealed the win.
