The shocking scenes in Paris at the weekend were concerning but would have come as no surprise to Rangers fans.

The Ibrox supporter base is still recovering from their own experience in a UEFA final after Seville's Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium didn't have adequate drinking water for parched supporters suffering in the 35-degree heat.

Many in the English media were caught up in the Stade de France crushing that saw Liverpool fans tear-gassed.

And that has led to significant coverage and pressure on the beleaguered organisation.
