RANGERS are reportedly keeping tabs on Racing Santander midfielder Pablo Torre.

It's claimed Ibrox reps have been informed about the Spanish starlet who is also being monitored by elite European clubs.

Torre, 18, has impressed for Santander in the third tier in Spain with three goals and six assists to his name so far this term.

And the Daily Record report his form has prompted Rangers scouts to be informed over the availability of the youngster.

Santander have the midfielder tied down until at least 2025 but Spanish contract rules mean a release clause must be included - with Torre's reportedly priced at around £4million.

Rangers are now claimed to be looking at the Spaniard as a possible summer target. And with Santander in financial fears, he may not even cost the full £4m fee.

However, Rangers could face stiff competition if they do go in for Torre as Real Madrid have been credited with interest. He's also reportedly being watched by top Italian sides.
