GIOVANNI van Bronckhorst has hailed Alfredo Morelos' contribution for Rangers as the pair celebrated a double December award win.
The Ibrox manager won Scottish Premiership Glen's manager of the month with Morelos scooping the player of the month gong.
And Van Bronckhorst saluted Morelos for his work on and off the park in December citing the player's attitude as a positive factor for the team.
The Colombian striker netted four times and provided one assist as Rangers earned six wins from six last month.
Commenting on Morelos, Van Bronckhosrst said: "Very good. I think he's done well since I came in, scored some important goals so that's always important for the team.
"He's working hard, his attitude has been really well so he's a positive factor for the team."
On being named manager of the month, he added: "I think the start of my career at Rangers has been very positive, and I am very proud to win this award, but I think what is behind the award is much more important.
"It means we have done a great job and my staff who have come with me and the staff who are already here have helped me a lot and have worked hard to achieve the wins we have had.
"Also, the players - I thank them as well for all the work they have done in the last weeks and month, and that is why I have got this award. It means you are doing a good job and gives me more motivation to kick-on."
