RORY WILSON has completed his move to Premier League side Aston Villa from Rangers.
The talented 16-year-old was snapped up by Villa on the expiry of his Ibrox contract.
It's thought the clubs agreed a compensation fee to see Wilson make the switch this summer.
This evening Aston Villa confirmed the signing with Wilson set to join the club academy.
Striker Wilson - who is also a Scotland youth international - impressed after a season where he netted 49 times for club and country.
Aston Villa academy manager Mark Harrison told the club website: “We are delighted that Rory has joined us having had a number of clubs interested in signing him.
“He is a goalscorer with a lot of potential, having also represented Scotland at international youth level.
“He has a real good thirst and mentality to want to improve and we really look forward to seeing how he develops with us and hopefully, in years to come, play for our first team.”
