GIOVANNI van Bronckhorst has revealed Alfredo Morelos has been working hard in training after being dropped from the Rangers squad.
The Ibrox boss made the huge call to leave Morelos out of the travelling squad for the crucial PSV Eindhoven Champions League trip over fitness and attitude concerns.
However, Van Bronckhorst has now explained Morelos has improved his attitude in training sessions ahead of a meeting tomorrow.
The Rangers manager is set to sit down for talks with Morelos tomorrow after the drop decision - and Van Bronckhorst is "positive" about the outcome.
Quizzed on BBC Scotland over Morelos, Van Bronckhorst said:"He's not in the squad because he is suspended for two games.
"But he worked hard this week and I will sit down with him tomorrow and discuss his progress in the next couple of weeks."
And further pushed on his thoughts on a positive outcome from the talks, Van Bronckhorst added: "Yeah, I am always a very positive person.
"For Morelos of course it was a very bad moment that he could not travel with us to PSV.
"But I think his attitude this week with the training sessions he's had were good.
"Now he needs to continue that effort."
