Rangers had eleven first-team players out on international duty during this latest round of fixtures, between World Cup qualifiers, friendlies, under-21 and under-20 matches respectively.
There were differing fortunes across the board as some found their game time limited, while others made headlines around the globe with some show-stopping moments.

John Souttar & Liam Kelly - Scotland
John Souttar played every minute as Scotland started their World Cup qualifying campaign with four points out of six on the road. The centre back was pivotal in recording two clean sheets for Steve Clarke’s side against Denmark and Belarus, with the former a particularly stoic display to secure what could be a vital point away from home.
Notably, the deeper line of the national side appeared to bring out the best in Souttar, and he was unfazed despite playing with two different central defensive partners, Grant Hanley and Scott McKenna, across both games.
Liam Kelly meanwhile was on the bench for both fixtures.
Nico Raskin - Belgium
While not featuring off the bench in The Red Devils’ six-goal away rout of Liechtenstein, the midfielder was thrown in from the start to face Kazakhstan in Anderlecht and netted his first goal for his country during his 71 minutes on the park, as his side managed the incredible feat of back-to-back 6-0 wins.
Raskin recorded a passing accuracy of 89% and won 6/8 ground duels in a dominant display in the middle of the park alongside household names such as Kevin De Bruyne and Youri Tielemans. His goal came from a late run into the box to run home a cross in front of goal, an action that Rangers fans will be craving from the 24-year-old in a side that has struggled in front of goal this season.

Oliver Antman - Finland
Antman didn’t feature for Finland in their international friendly against Norway that saw him face fellow Rangers attacker Thelo Aasgaard. He did, however, play 64 minutes as his nation went down 3-1 away to Poland.
Thelo Aasgaard - Norway
As mentioned above, Aasgaard played 45 minutes in a friendly against the Finns, in what was his second international appearance. It was a match which saw Norway run out 1-0 winners thanks to an Erling Haaland penalty.
His third cap, however, will live long in the memory. Introduced in the 64th minute, with his side already 6-0 up on Moldova, the 23-year-old netted four goals, including an eleven-minute hat-trick that helped his side to a stunning 11-1 victory on the night. Working alongside one of the best centre-forwards in world football, in Erling Haaland, has helped develop Aasgaard's eye for goal it seems. Not to be outdone, though, the Manchester City man struck five on the night against the International minnows.

It was an eye-catching performance from the summer acquisition from Luton Town, whose career so far in Glasgow has been stunted by injury, and one that will leave the Ibrox faithful hungry for more.
Bojan Miovski - North Macedonia
Miovski was an unused substitute in North Macedonia’s 2-1 friendly loss to Saudi Arabia last Thursday. He did, however, play 71 minutes as his nation dismantled Liechtenstein 5-0, although he himself didn’t manage to get on the scoresheet.
Derek Cornelius - Canada
Signed on deadline day from Marseille, Derek Cornelius arrives at Rangers as something of an unknown quantity. He has certainly whetted the appetite of the support this international break, not only with his defensive solidity but with his apparent set-piece prowess. The 27-year old played the full match in a 3-0 win over Romania on Friday, but that was just a prelude for what was to come.

On Tuesday evening, Cornelius scored the only goal of the game as his side beat Wales 1-0. And what a goal it was, with the central defender unleashing a stunning 25-yard free kick. It was a strike straight out of the Juninho Pernambucano playbook that will have undoubtedly set expectations into overdrive
Nedim Bajrami - Albania
After being left out of Russell Martin’s Europa League squad, what Bajrami’s future as a Rangers player looks like remains unclear. On the international stage, however, he remains a key man for Albania, starting in both of their 1-0 victories over Gibraltar and Latvia.
Interestingly, in both games, he was deployed on the left of a three beyond a central striker. It’s a position that so far has been claimed, rightfully so on early evidence, by Djeidi Gassama, but Bajrami could adapt into an alternative option if the 26-year-old is to have any longevity in his Rangers career.
Nasser Djiga - Burkina Faso
The on-loan Wolves central defender was called up for the Burkina Faso squad to face Djibouti and Egypt. Djiga was on the bench for both matches and didn’t see any game time as his side came out unbeaten with a 6-0 win and 0-0 draw, respectively.
Findlay Curtis - Scotland under-21s
Curtis was a late substitute on Friday as Scotland U-21s fell to a 2-0 defeat against Czechia. The winger went on to start against Portugal U-21s and play 89 minutes, but unfortunately for Scot Gemmill’s side, they once again succumbed to a 2-0 loss.
Jayden Meghoma - England under-20s
The on-loan Brentford full-back played 78 minutes as England U-20s went down 2-1 to Italy.
