STEVEN GERRARD has been hailed for showing a "lovely touch" by posing for a photo with the Union Bears.

A picture shared online shows the Rangers boss standing with the ultras group at Ibrox after Sunday's 2-1 win over Hibs.

The top of the table clash was Ross McGill's last game as 'Capo' of the group - as he announced last week he was standing down from his role.

And after the big win for the Light Blues, Gerrard took the chance to get a photo with the small band of fans post-match.

Four Lads Had A Dream shared the picture on social media.

They wrote on Twitter: "Steven Gerrard with Ross McGill and the Union Bears.

"Lovely touch by the manager and the club. Well deserved @RossMcG1872."

Last week McGill shared on his on Twitter profile that he would be leaving his position.

He wrote: "Sunday will be my final game as Capo in BF1. What a journey it’s been but it’s time for me to step down from this role.

"Been doing this for a long time and I won’t be able to attend matches as regularly.

"Thanks for so many amazing days & nights in the stands."

He also shared a picture of a signed James Tavernier Rangers jersey.
