We’ve seen you playing further forward recently, do you feel that’s you best position for the team?

I’ve never really thought what is my best position, I’ve just been happy to do what the manager wants me to do but I’m really enjoying getting forward and trying to chip in with more goals.

What changes has the manager brought in specifically in the last couple of weeks?

He wants a lot of us running forward to cause mayhem because a lot of bodies are in and around that area so it’s just to cause confusion for defenders.

You started off deeper today as a 6 but then moved forward, how important is it to be that flexible in that system in the team?

It’s very important because you never know where another team’s weakness is so if you need to play one role or in a different role, it's massively important to be able to do that.

Calvin Bassey said prior to the Dundee game that the levels in training have gone up since the new manager arrived, have you noticed that?

Every day the boy’s are improving and we’re wanting to show the manager what we’re capable of so yeah training has been very good recently.

What’s it like playing alongside Fashion Sakala?

He’s very good, as you saw today, he’s unreal dribbling, getting at his man, he’s just a handful in games.

Tell us where you’ve gone from when the manager started to where you are now?

We’ve known we had to stick together, always. We have to take on what the manager is saying to us and just trust in his process and that’s what we’ve done. We’ve managed to get four massive victories.

How important is that heading into Thursday’s game with Lyon?

It’s very important, we have to stick together. We know how big a game it is, we need to listen to the manager and what he thinks is going to get us over the line and that’s what we have to take into the game.

The manager has spoken about getting the ball forward quicker and taking more shots, is that something, as players you’re aware of, maybe taking that opportunity instead of slipping the ball in?

You have to shoot in football matches because you never know what can happen. I was lucky today with a deflection but if you don’t shoot you don’t score so it’s very important.

The team seems to look more confident, is that just a case of trusting the process, trusting the ability of you and your teammates and we’re seeing the fruits of that now?

Yeah definitely, it’s so important to first of all trust yourself as a player and then you have to trust your teammates and you trust the gaffer or the boss, you trust in everything he says so it’s very important.
