This is the moment a madcap Rangers fan interrupted a live broadcast on BBC Scotland tonight.

The news channel were reporting from outside Ibrox as reporter Kheredine Idessane brought viewers up to speed with the appointment of Michael Beale.

The Englishman has been appointed as the club's new manager on a deal until the summer of 2026. .

It comes just one-year after he left the Ibrox club as their first team coach. 

He was announced the the club's new No.1 this evening, with Rangers reaching an agreement with QPR for his services. 

The news has pleased many Gers fans, with Giovanni van Bronckhorst's replacement now in position heading into the second half of the season.

And one supporter encapsulated that delight live on TV as he danced about in the background a piece-to-camera on BBC Scotland's evening bulletin.

The fan, who bared his chest, with his shirt placed over his head, could be heard singing Michael Beale's name. 

Beale's first game in charge will come against Hibs on Thursday, December 15.

He will take charge of two friendlies before then though, against Bayer Leverkusen and Swansea.
