Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos may not be the only big hitters leaving Rangers this summer.

Barry Ferguson reckons there could be two or three other major players who are headed for the Ibrox exit door come the end of the season.

Both Kent & Morelos are out of contract soon and are likely to move on to new pastures.

Michael Beale revealed that the pair may have played their last games for the club as he looks to rebuild his first-team squad in the coming months.

And Ferguson reckons the like of Glen Kamara, John Lundstram and perhaps Antonio Colak could follow in an attempt to boost Rangers' transfer budget.

He told Go Radio's Football Show: "I thought they got lucky with Connor Goldson, he agreed to stay and was a good bit of business.

"But you look what has happened this season with Kent and Morelos, if you are looking at making money off players, they were the type you should never let their contracts run down. So I look at guys like Lundstram, Kamara.

"They are going into the final years of their contracts. If they are not going to be a big part of Michael Beale's plans going forward, then I think Rangers might look to do business with players like that.

"In terms of Colak, I get the impression that if he isn't going to be the main number nine, I don't think he will want to stay. And I think Michael Beale wants to bring in a number nine.

"So I think Colak, if he is looking at it, he doesn't want to play second fiddle. And he has a couple years left on his contract, and I believe if he doesn't think he will be the number one striker, I think he will want to go and Rangers will cash in."

He added: "I am unsure whether he (Beale) will bring in a director of football, I think he likes being in charge. I think he likes to make the final decision, but a sporting director is good to have as they take quite a lot away from the manager.

"In terms of discussing transfer fees, contract salaries. But if you are asking my honest opinion, I think Michael Beale might go it alone and leave it to himself and staff to make these decisions."
