It's been described as a revenge mission by Connor Goldson.

It seems like a lifetime ago when Kilmarnock defeated Rangers on the opening day of the Premiership season.

Michael Beale's side came crashing down to earth as the Ayrshire side toppled the Light Blues on a roasting hot August evening.

Things have changed for the better for the Ibrox club though, with Philippe Clement guiding them to the top of the table.

They will be looking to at least maintain their two-point gap over Celtic at the summit, however, Killie are chasing European football themselves and are on fine form under Derek McInnes.

Here is everything you need to know about this one...

When is Kilmarnock vs Rangers?

Kilmarnock will take on Rangers TODAY on Wednesday, February 28.

The game will kick off at 7.45pm.

It will be played at Rugby Park, Kilmarnock.

Is Kilmarnock vs Rangers on TV and can I live stream it?

No, unfortunately, this game will not be broadcast live on television.

Sky Sports have opted not to select this game as part of their deal to showcase Scotland's top flight. They have already shown three live matches from Rugby Park this season, meaning they'll want to keep their fourth and final game for the post-split fixtures.

However, Killie is offering a pay-per-view live stream feed of the game.

Passes to watch the game on Killie TV can be bought for £12.99 here. International subscribers will be able to log on to watch the game as normal.

Team news

For the hosts, Brad Lyons and Kyle Magennis remain the only long-term absentees.

Robbie Deas is back in full training after spending the last few weeks on the sidelines with a fractured cheekbone. He was available for the win over Aberdeen, however, McInnes took no chances with the powerful defender.

Kyle Vassell took a knock in a challenge with Richard Jensen, but having spoken to the press to preview this game, it appears he's in contention to play.

For Rangers, we know they will be without Todd Cantwell. Clement last week revealed that the ex-Norwich City man would be missing for a few weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury.

Kemar Roofe has stepped up his recovery, however, due to the plastic pitch he will not feature.

Leon Balogun - who has been fitted with a protective mask - could play.
