Russell Martin has no concerns that Mikey Moore's arrival at Rangers could stunt Findlay Curtis' development.
The 17-year-old joined the Ibrox club on a season-long loan deal from Tottenham Hotspur on Friday.
Given that Moore is predominantly a left-winger, and that's where Curtis has been deployed in recent matches, natural concerns have been raised that the new signing could impact the homegrown talent's development.
Martin was asked about the subject at his press conference on Friday: "No, no," he said. "I think the more options we have in the top line, the better.

"And Findlay's really versatile, as is Mikey, so I don't think it stunts one of our own. I think it helps him [Curtis] playing with a really, really top player all the time and picking up and learning, and Findlay's such a good learner, so I don't see it as being harmful to him at all."
It remains to be seen when Moore will make his Rangers bow.
Indeed, the club are waiting to receive clearance from FIFA, which is taking longer than usual because he is, in their eyes, a minor.
Martin said: "We're still waiting.
"So I don't know when he's going to be available because it takes a bit longer because he's deemed a minor by FIFA under 18.
"So we're at their beck and call, really, and waiting. So everyone's pushing for it, the SFA, the FA, us. So we just have to wait and see when that comes."
