Rangers have been sanctioned by the SPFL over a rule breach in relation to pyrotechnics.
The Ibrox club has been served a suspended ticket cut as punishment for Rangers fans setting off pyro during the club's opening match of the Scottish Premiership campaign away at Motherwell.
During the game at Fir Park, which ended 1-1, blue smoke descended from the away stand, which caused disruption to the encounter.
As such, Scottish football's governing body has ruled that Rangers were guilty of failing to comply with R37 - which entails ensuring that a club's supporters does not partake in 'unacceptable conduct'.
Rangers have also been found in breach of 'failing to identify or take proportionate disciplinary measures against the supporters responsible for the pyrotechnic display'.
Should a repeat offence occur before next summer, at the end of June 2026, then Rangers will see a reduced allocation of 50 tickets for a future away match in SPFL competition.
They will also owe the home team the cost of those 50 tickets.
An SPFL statement reads: "The SPFL can confirm that Rangers have been found in breach of SPFL rules following the behaviour of the club’s supporters during their first league game of the season away at Motherwell.
"Proceedings into a large-scale, organised and illegal pyrotechnics display during the club’s 1-1 draw at Fir Park on August 2 have now concluded.

"The club was found to have breached SPFL Rule H37 in failing to ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, that their supporters did not engage in 'unacceptable conduct' at that match. The club were also found to have failed to identify or take proportionate disciplinary measures against the supporters responsible for the pyrotechnic display.
"The following sanction was imposed:
"(i) A suspended reduction of 50 tickets for a future away match in an SPFL competition, to be triggered in event of another rule breach of SPFL Rule H37 through pyrotechnic use by the club’s supporters at an away match in any SPFL competition on, or before, 30 June 2026.
"If this sanction is triggered, the club will be required to pay the costs for said 50 tickets to the home club for the respective match."
