Oscar Cortes is a name many Rangers fans will have forgotten after his rather disappointing stint in Glasgow.

Arriving from Lens just over two years ago, the Colombian winger initially moved to Ibrox on loan before they were obligated to fork out £4.5m for his services on a permanent deal.

He made just three appearances before leaving on loan to join Sporting Gijon in Spain.

Once again, the 22-year-old failed to deliver, and found himself briefly back in Glasgow before signing for Huracan in January on a season-long loan.

The Argentine side have an option to make the move a permanent fixture.

If Cortes can show more of his capabilities like he did in their recent match against Belgrano, then he may find himself a new home.

Scoring his first goal in more than two years when he netted in a 5-0 victory over Hearts, Cortes helped Huracan on their way to a 3-1 triumph on Tuesday night.

His side were 1-0 up when he nipped in to win the ball back in a dangerous area.

His touch took him towards the box, before he produced a neat stepover and powerful finish from the edge of the area, firing his shot into the goalkeeper's bottom right corner.
