THE fee Rangers must pay to obtain John Souttar's services this month has reportedly been revealed.
A report has claimed that Hearts will hold out for £500,000 plus add-ons to let their star defender go now.
The Scotland international yesterday penned a pre-contract agreement at Ibrox, and will join up with the current Premiership champions in the summer.
It remains to be seen whether Souttar will join his new team sooner than that though, with Hearts adamant they will not let him go unless a significant offer comes their way, with Robbie Neilson's men on course to finish third.
And the Daily Mail say that Rangers will need to push the boat out to land their man in January.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst was keen to bolster his backline with Connor Goldson into the final six months of his deal.
The Gers are also dealing with injury issues regarding Leon Balogun and Filip Helander.
