RANGERS star Aaron Ramsey has been called up to the Wales national team for their upcoming World Cup play-off matches.
The news comes a matter of hours after the Welshman suffered heartache with the rest of his Gers team-mates in their Europa League final loss to Eintracht Frankfurt in Seville.
The on-loan Juventus player missed his penalty, which meant that the German outfit were able to run out 5-4 winners at the death.
The former Arsenal ace was visibly devastated by his miss, as he was consoled by his team-mates.
However, he has been named in Rob Pages' upcoming Wales squad.
They will host either Scotland or Ukraine in Cardiff, with the winner gaining a place at the World Cup this winter.
Fellow national talisman Gareth Bale is also included in the squad.
Dundee United star Dylan Levitt keeps his slot too.
