SEBASTIAN RODE has taken to social media to show the extent of his head injury sustained in last night's Europa League final with Rangers.
The Eintracht Frankfurt captain was caught on the head by John Lundstram's boot in the early stages of the match.
The Rangers midfielder escaped any form of punishment for the high boot.
Rode was able to continue for the remainder of the game, with his head banaged up.
But in the aftermath of the game, the German took to Twitter to post a selfie, showing his stitches along his forehead.
He shared an image of the scars with the caption: "The main thing is to get the thing!!! Everything else doesn't matter."
Hauptsache das Ding geholt!!! Alles andere ist egal. 💪💥😉🏆 #SGE #SGEuropa @Eintracht pic.twitter.com/iyCybFL70C
