Allan McGregor keeps his spot in goal with a back-five of James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, ex-Liverpool man Ben Davies, Leon King and Borna Barisic.
John Lundstram partners Steven Davis in midield with Malik Tillman, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos offering Rangers an attacking threat.
For Liverpool, Alisson begins in goal with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Kostas Tsimikas in defence.
Jordan Henderson and Thiago Alcantara will play as holding midfielder allowing Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz to support striker Darwin Nunez up top.
